A Sub by any other name would taste so good

  Ok so Shakespeare I’m NOT!

This is not much of a Blog entry but I had a question for whom ever is reading my ratings this time around.
What do you call a Submarine Sandwich where you live?
I do not know how or why this came up, but for some reason it interests me. Here is what we have so far.

A Foot too short

Ok, I am not sure who will read this or read this and think it is interesting, but I found it amusing, educating and very revealing.

Two women to whom I respect and hold high esteem for, and have never heard them be catty on any subject or person, happened by my post yesterday and for some ungodly reason felt the need to drag me into a conversation about women foot size.

One of the new female employees walked by wearing flip-flops, the two women looked at this girl’s feet then at each other and then at me and that is when the odd topic ensued and the women went into a catty rant about the size of this girls feet and what she should be doing to down play the size of the, and I quote “Size of the snowshoes she has on the ends of her ankles”

Now not having a shoe fetish as most males and with neither a like or a dislike for the female foot, I was completely out of my element, but I seemed to have hindered the conversation enough to get a couple good jokes in, while learning a few things about women’s fascination with the size of their feet.

I learned that women strive to have small feet, which I sort of knew, but never paid attention to. The part I don’t think that women know is that I don’t think men care how big your foot size is, so long as they do not resemble a yeti with all kinds of hair that you could braid.
So where I am going with this entry is how many men out there care what size the female foot is? And for you females what is it about the size of your feet that bother you?

I know there are Foot people out there that love them and maybe they could give me some sort of answer because I just don’t get what the issue is. Maybe I am just one of those guys that just like women for women no matter the shape size or color of them or their parts, although now that I type that I would feel off about a purple woman, I am ok with green, because after all . . . (*WARNING* Star Trek reference) Captain Kirk had a brief relationship with one, but that is where I draw the line.
Old Kirk

New Kirk

For the most part I am going with big or small I love them all mentality, but I would like to hear from you women and men out there who have a view on this topic.

Thanks for reading this week’s “Odd Entry” (not that there have been normal ones as of late)

See you next time on the Cosmic Mish-Mash

Sound Off

The worst sound of the morning during work is that last slurp that makes you well aware that your coffee is all gone . . .

As I sat here I was wondering what other sounds give you that “Oh Crap or Annoyed” feeling when you hear them. So here is what I came up with for my top 10 worst sounds to hear.

1.     The Low fuel “dings” in your car.

2.     The Police “siren” behind you.

3.     The Tire pressure “alarm” while you’re still driving.

4.     The fire “alarm” at work or school.

5.     The smoke detector “squeals” while you’re cooking.

6.     The Baby “crying” anytime but especially in the middle of the night.

7.     The low battery “beeps” on your mobile phone while you have no charger near you.

8.     The sound of a “truck or motorcycle noise” outside your window when you are about to find out who the killer is on that movie or TV show you’ve spent all this time watching.

9.     The sound of the “back up alarm” on a vehicle while you are sleeping.

10.                         Your door bell “ringing” while you’re doing something that you do not want to be disturbed at.

I am sure you all have some of the same on your list; let’s hear from you if you have one that is not on mine…

Thanks for stopping in . . .

Called on account of rain

So Before I get to this week’s first blog entry I know you are all excited (probably NOT) to hear how our Horror movie night in the woods went. I can tell you in 2 words Rained out.

We will try again another time . . . However that does not mean we did not watch the movies; we were not able to do it outside.

This week I have scheduled the Classic 1939 “The Mummy”,

" Friday the 13th" the first one from 1980,

 and
"Saw 2" to wet the slasher appetite in us all.

Well that is a quick update and now on with the show…

October the Pumpkin Horror movie month

That is right fun seekers it is October my favorite month for movies and my favorite month because of that vaunted fall gored, the orange king  . . .  Pumpkin.

I try to keep the pumpkin flavoring to a minimum and I only go whole hog on it in October and a small bit in November, I do love the flavor but if I tasted it all the time I would get repulsed by it after a while. It’s not like it is pizza or Chinese food I can get tired of it.

So yesterday was October first and what did I do to celebrate? I watched Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds” a classic scary thriller.

Today I broke down and savored my very first Pumpkin coffee and tonight’s movie spotlight shall be shining on yet another classic “The Shining”

Tomorrow I have on my list a Pumpkin donut
more pumpkin spiced coffee and the movie list for the rest of the week is as follows;

The Original Dracula , Evil Dead 1 & 2 (the originals) Then Evil dead the remake, The Wolf man with Lon Chaney, Boris Karloff’s Frankenstein and to finish off the weekend Fright Night 1 & 2 and Hostel 1.

I am going to add Pumpkin spice to the steamer on top of the wood stove at camp and enjoy a quiet weekend.

Happy October People!

Come and get your love

Ever have those days when you are all happy and warm inside and everyone around you is sad, mad, and mean. It seems like they want to pick a fight with the world or just got beat by it?

Well all I have to say “COME AND GET YOUR LOVE”

Play that song and try not to feel better! And if that doesn’t work play it again and then come find me and today I will show you some love… hug the world today!

It is dark and rainy and raw outside in the North East of the United States, but for some reason the sun is shining in me today, so I am going with the flow…

Want to hear the song of the day click here.

Have a great day world!
